2023 COMMUNITY PUBLIC SAFETY GRANTS
The following is a collection of documents pertaining to the 2023 State of Georgia Community Public Safety grants.

In June 2023, Gov. Brian Kemp announced the disbursement of $83.5 million in ARPA funds for 118 "qualified projects" across Georgia.
Many of these grants were used to acquire surveillance technologies such as automated license plate readers from vendors like Flock Safety, real time crime center situational awareness software from Fusus, and mobile phone forensics extraction devices from Cellebrite and Grayshift.
In light of the efforts by the State of Georgia to repress and suppress organizing to stop Cop City, the state actively funding a larger police surveillance apparatus is concerning.
We are actively investigating the full scope of these grants and the technologies acquired. Please check back for updated information as more documents become available and we're able to conduct a more thorough analysis regarding what Gov. Kemp is constructing.
